Nan Yao is a highly motivated and dedicated student with strong user interface analysis and design skills. She received her Advanced Diploma of Interactive Design and Development at George Brown College in 2018. She is currently enrolled in the Digital Futures program at Ontario College of Art and Design University. She will complete the program and earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts or a Bachelor of Design degree in 2020.

She has developed the skills to design the front-end interface and user experience for a broad range of digital marketing deliverables with extensive knowledge of software programs such as Unity, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, and JavaScript.

She is adept at listening to user’s needs, also willing to perform field research to discover and implement important design details that people may not realize they need in order to create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to be approved to help ensure customer satisfaction. Her career goal is to become a professional UI/UX designer.
Recently, Nan Yao with five other classmates has created a 360° video project called “Urbanature”. This project has provided a great opportunity for Nan to learn how to record and edit ambisonic audios with the Adobe Audition and Unity. She has found Visual Reality very impressive. Therefore, she is keen to acquire more skills and knowledge regarding Visual Reality.
